Privacy
The short version: no cookies, no tracking. If you write to me, I keep your message and email address so I can answer you, and nothing more.
Who is responsible
This website belongs to Osukā Creative, the independent studio of Oscar Dao in Odense, Denmark. Oscar is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach him at hello@osukacreative.com.
What I collect, and why
When you write to me, through the contact form or by email, I get your message, the email address you give me and your name if you add it. The contact form sends these to my inbox as an email.
I use them for one thing: to answer you and, if we work together, to talk about the project. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in replying to a message you chose to send, and, if it turns into a project, preparing and running the agreement with you.
To stop automated spam, the contact form briefly uses your IP address to count how many messages it has sent from it. That count is kept in memory for at most an hour and is never written down or used for anything else.
What I don't do
No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising. The fonts are served from this site, so your browser doesn't contact Google or anyone else to show them. I never sell or share your details for marketing.
Who else handles it
The site runs on Fly.io, which, like any web host, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and keep them secure. Email, including messages from the contact form, is handled by Simply.com, a Danish email host, and stored in my inbox there.
How long I keep it
Messages stay in my inbox for as long as they are useful for our conversation or a project, and as long as Danish bookkeeping rules require for anything tied to an invoice. Ask, and I'll delete what I'm not required to keep.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data I have about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how I use it, and get a copy to take elsewhere. Email hello@osukacreative.com and I'll answer within a month.
If you think I've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, at datatilsynet.dk.
